Turkey announces the visit of its foreign minister to Egypt for the first time in 10 years

The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that its Foreign Minister, Mevlut Cavusoglu, will head to Egypt tomorrow, Saturday, in the first official visit by a Turkish official to Cairo in 10 years

The Turkish Foreign Ministry stated that the Foreign Minister will visit Egypt tomorrow, Saturday, March 18, at the invitation of Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry. During the meetings and talks, it is scheduled to discuss all aspects of bilateral relations, and exchange views on regional and international issues.

According to what the Turkish side says: This visit will be the first visit by a Turkish minister of this level to Egypt in 10 years.

For its part, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry said that Shoukry will meet his Turkish

counterpart tomorrow morning, Saturday, in Cairo, at exactly ten o’clock Cairo local time
