African League: Moroccan Wydad defeats Tunisian Esperance in the first leg of the semi-final

Sun Downs’ goal was scored by Thapelo Maseko in the 52nd minute.

The two teams will meet next Wednesday in the return match in Cairo.

Al-Ahly needs to win by more than one goal in the second leg to advance to the final, while Sun Downs’ draw with any result is sufficient to advance to the final.
