The Jordanian Olympic team opens its career in the Asian qualifiers with a victory over Brunei

The Olympic National Under-23 Football Team outperformed its counterpart, the Brunei National
Team, by 9 unanswered goals.

Olympic prevailed in the match held at Prince Mohammed Stadium in Zarqa, at the beginning of the two teams’ matches in the Asian qualifiers.

The national team topped the first group standings by goal difference from Oman.

The Jordan Football Association will host the competitions of the first group of the Asian qualifiers, which will be held during the period 6-12 September, at Prince Muhammad Stadium in Zarqa, with the participation of the teams of Syria, Oman and Brunei, along with the national team.

The national team will meet in its second match with its Omani counterpart at nine in the evening next Saturday, before facing Syria at the same time next Tuesday.

According to the instructions, the first-placed team in each group, along with the four best second-placed teams in all groups, qualifies for the Asian Finals.

The Asian Cup under the age of 23 will be held in Qatar, from April 15 to May 3, 2024, with the participation of 16 teams, as the first three teams qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympics directly, while the fourth-place player will face the global play-off.
