President El-Sisi returns home after participating in the US-Africa summit in Washington

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi returned today, Saturday, to the homeland, after his sovereignty’s participation in the American-African summit in Washington.

The official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic, Ambassador Bassam Rady, stated that the President focused during the summit on issues of concern to African countries in light of the existing global challenges, strengthening the African-American partnership to confront the food security crisis, and facilitating the integration of African countries into the global economy, to benefit from the opportunities it provides. And advantages in achieving economic growth, technology transfer and stimulating the movement of foreign investment.

The program of the President’s visit to the United States included holding meetings with a number of senior American officials, in order to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries, in a manner that achieves the common interests of the two friendly countries and peoples, as well as continuing consultations and mutual coordination on regional and international files of common interest.
